Plant-Animal Interactions is the study of the special ecological and evolutionary relationships between plants and animals. The basic interactions between plants and animals (herbivory pollination and seed dispersal) will be studied by observing the natural history conducting experiments investigating the theory and discussing current scientific literature. This course will take place both online and in person and will include live (synchronous) class sessions with your instructor via Zoom web conferencing in-person sessions at the Arboretum and at local sites of interest and self-paced (asynchronous) learning supported through our class website at treelearning.mortonarb.org. Students should contact their department chair for details and to apply. Permission of the Department Chair required.
