Students are introduced to the role of an Electronic Health Records Specialist. Students will study the use of Electonic Health Records (EHR) its security data accuracy auditing patient records abstracting clinical information basic coding the release of information (ROI) and insurance information. The National Healthcare Association (NHA) certification exam (CEHRS) is offered to qualified candidates.
